THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VICARAGE DRIVE, FOXTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends, not less than 7
days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to allow for the closure of that length of road
specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The road is being closed to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake new water connection and various highway maintenance works.
Any member of the public requiring further information should contact Leicestershire
Highways on 0116 3050001. The Order will come into force on 20 th July and have a
maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence on site when the appropriate signs
have been erected and may last for up to 1 month. Closure details will be confirmed locally in
due course. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be
maintained at all times. The Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience
caused during the duration of the Order. During the closure of the road, the alternative route
available to all through bound vehicular traffic affected will be via:- Main Street, Middle Street
and vice versa. During the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed at
